I found it wonderfully informative. I also read the 50 Psychology Classics by this author and liked it a lot. What you believe is none of my business.
I am currently re-reading it and its amazing how these 50 spiritual classics can assist me in relating to anyone, and not just in some religious, spiritual sense. I love this book because it presents a wide range of spiritual perspectives.
