As always, in a Carol Lynne’s book, there is a lot of sex, a free enjoyment of life and a big social issue; in this case it’s the relationship between a blind man and his lover, but also between a single gay father and his lover. This book circled around some tough issues child abuse in particular but in a rather distant way – no details; it dealt with the impact for the victim many years in advance.
