The story descended into such dreary time-consuming nonsense towards the end that I convinced myself it couldn’t get any worse See 2 questions about Seize the Night…. So of course i give the book 5 stars! It finally builds to a climax that really stands up there with the best I have read from Koontz. The plot suddenly goes from a pox being unleashed upon zeize world to a time travel nightmare machine that was accelerated due to a pox being unleashed upon the world.
Darkness Under the Sun. The ups and downs are fun and the way the “paradox” doesn’t actually fix all of the loose ends is funny. A strange pencil drawing of a crow is the only shred of evidence left behind. He has a gift for writing clever and witty dialogue.

Having read the first book these parts were obviously redundant. Then I retract the asshole seze. He might be circling back to the edge of the channel, intending to enter the riverbed behind me.
About this title Audio Format. I ending the book with the satisfaction that it was time well spent. Inside the fort, the group is faced directly with the abductor, who is also head of the project Mystery Train. A Fable for All Ages Nihgt like the idea of having characters who do selfless acts for others, etc.
Jun 16, Thien Quy rated it it was amazing. Turns out they were mostly for character development, which actually ended up adding a lot to the story. I haven’t flipped pages that fast or sat at my kitchen table oblivious to the rest of the world for deaan long in a long time.
This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. I really did not like the style Koontz wrote in for this one. This is a great book. Those who meet him for the first time in Seize the Night will soon join millions of others whose imaginations have been touched by this unique character and the extraordinary, eerie world of Moonlight Bay. I seem to be either really hot or cold with Koontz books. The next day, Chris calls Manuel Ramirez, the acting chief of police, to give him information about Jimmy Wing’s kidnapper’s vehicle.
Maybe the beginning of the insanity. All hell was breaking lose and the genetic experiments were the least of their worries.
Later, Manuel tells Chris in no uncertain terms to back off, while confiscating his and Bobby’s guns and trashing his house.
